2023 Atlantia Persona Pentathlon
Updated: May 3, 2023
This was my first year participating in the pentathlon, and it was something that seemed to come up quickly, but I already had projects that pertained to my persona. In fact, I had more than I needed and had to select only five items to be included in the competition. I actually have been niching down my persona for years and now I have decided to make a complete fool out of myself by showing that side of me.
The five areas I included were :

Garb -A particolored cotehardie.
Accessory - A particolored hood with dags, bells, and ears as befits a court fool.
Calligraphy and Illumination: This represents what might have been the front cover of a collection of stories.
Toy Making - My Marotte or fools scepter.
Performing Arts - An original story written for their Majesties called, The Forgotten Reign.
I enjoyed talking to everyone that came by, and I was able to explain many things about my foolish behavior, the clothes I wore, my Marotte (fool's scepter), and I how I created it out of sawdust and wheatpaste. Wheatpaste is a glue used in bookmaking which I mixed fine sawdust to mold a head for my stick puppet. People even got to play with the dough, which they found fascinating. Others wanted my garb but made it in other colors. I had good conversations with the judges and learned better ways to proceed with some of my documentation. Overall it was a good day.
Here are some more photos from the day.
